Club members, this is a great event being put on by Lakeview Marina.
As part of Webster’s Annual Earth Day clean up we are trying to gather some volunteers to help clean up a portion of Thompson Rd. As of now, we are only planning to clean the stretch from the Marina to the beginning of Point Breeze Rd. If we can get more volunteers we could extend the clean up to the ski club shack and the highway on ramp area. We are planning on the clean-up being on land but if there is a need to pick up trash from the water, we could probably coordinate a few of our rental kayaks to use. I will be getting supplies such as bags and gloves from the town hall that morning to distribute and am planning on collecting the trash and bringing it down to the town hall to add to their total.
